Lanarepro for the environment.
Our environment is extremely important to us. Having achieved FSC® certification in 2009, Lanarepro is able to offer its clients printing on paper from certified sustainable forestry. As a forward-looking company, we monitor all of our processes to ensure that we save resources and increasingly use recycled papers.
Our printing is climate-neutral.
The printing process still entails CO2 emissions. For us, protecting the climate begins with accounting for all of the CO2 emissions that arise either directly or indirectly from the printing process. Moreover, this inventory-taking takes into account all those emissions that are produced during the manufacturing of the paper and during transport. Then we set to work reducing and offsetting the emissions, which we are able to do through climate-neutral printing. By purchasing verified carbon credits, the emissions are then offset - i.e. set to climate neutral.
“Green” electricity
All of the electrical energy that is not produced at Lanarepro through our own photovoltaic plant is obtained from 100% renewable and clean energy sources.
Chem-free printing plate technology.
And in offset printing too, we make a real contribution to environmental protection. We use KODAK Sonora printing plates for a printing plate process that is completely chemical-free. Process-free plates provide excellent print quality and a high level of productivity. All of the development and fixing processes that are usually needed to create printing plates are eliminated.
Good for the environment: inks & additives.
Here at Lanarepro we use plant-based organic printing inks (free from mineral oils and cobalt) as well as plant-based organic cleaning agents (0% VOC – with no volatile organic compounds). Apart from this we also refrain from using isopropyl alcohol, which has the advantage that no ozone is generated.
Solar electricity.
We obtain part of our energy from renewable sources. Since 2012 we have produced electricity with the help of the sun with our photovoltaic plant. At full capacity the plant generates approx. 130 KWp of electricity, 100% of which is used during production for printing and refining our customers’ products.
